Story
1 in 9 American men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetimes, and we're on a mission to end this thing. And it takes all shapes and sizes to win this fight: corporate hombres, law enforcement bros, and independent dudes who are ready to step up and make a difference.
zerocancer.org/give is the official site, but you can also sign up right here to use JustGiving's platform, or create a fundraiser over on Facebook, too.
Just 'staches?
Nope. Everyone is welcome: beards, goatees, mustaches, stubble, and even clean shavers and ladies can play a part.
Some dudes shave on the first, others are already rocking a beard. Some guys push fundraising early, others hit play on Nov. 1st, and some guys just double-down on #GivingTuesday...we're not big on rules here, what matters is making an impact for the cause. If you're down with that, we're happy to have ya.
How does it work?
Sign up, beard up, spread the word, and raise money to fight prostate cancer.
Looking for inspiration? You've got your corporate throw-down: workplaces holding competition between departments, building the team by seeing whether IT, accounting, or the execs can come out on top. Then there's the first responders and LEOs who get a month off from the clean-shave rule for anyone who joins their unit's team and makes a donation or raises funds.
Bands and bars like to do special events to raise awareness and contribute part of the take. Breweries, wineries, restaurants, and stores have whipped up special brews and products, with profits going to the cause. And of course, some guys just straight-up spread the word and ask for donations, rising to the top of the leaderboard.
Got any special tools?
You know it, brother. Head over to our official site and check out the downloadable fundraising guides, printable materials, donor badges, and more.
