Story
The coronavirus outbreak is increasing the vulnerability of children and families who were already in high stress situations like kids in foster care, parents facing unexpected pregnancies, parents with substance abuse issues, and refugees. Thats why Bethany is stepping up in new ways, using virtual technology to connect with our existing families and recruit new foster and adoptive parents.
We need your help now more than ever to show kids and families they're #NotAlone during this global pandemic.
Because of the coronavirus crisis, we're seeing a rise in the number of children in foster care and children waiting to be adopted. Without your help, these children may not find safe, caring families.
Without your help, expectant parents may not be able to access critical health care appointments and families around the world will lack access to basic essentials, like food and clean water.
You can support vulnerable children and families in crisis today. Your generosity will help provide:
1- Life-saving items such as food, clean water, and technology for families and children around the world who are at increased risk because of the virus spread.
2- Virtual technology to connect children in foster care with their caseworkers and families for extra support
3- Food, medical supplies, and educational technology for children in residential care who are now restricted from items normally supplied in their daily school
