From coding enthusiast to Microsoft employee, Community College Initiative (CCI) student Gomolemo Mohapi's journey is inspirational!
Growing up in Durban, South Africa, Gomolemo discovered his love for coding in high school. He began sharing his knowledge through tutorials and workshops at his university. Now, he's a cloud advocate at Microsoft, blending coding skills with community support.
"It's surreal. After returning home from NOVA, I went back to university and continued with what I had been doing before, creating programming guides and workshops for my peers. Soon after, though, I started traveling around my province because other colleges wanted me to put on workshops for their students, too! Eventually, I was doing workshops across South Africa. Being at NOVA is such a privilege. You will be served by amazing people who genuinely care about your future and well-being.""
