The Ocala Public Library provides many valuable services to the community. People of all ages benefit from access to books, educational programs, computers and internet, and dozens of other services.
The Friends of the Ocala Public Library helps to support our library by contributing to programs for patrons of all ages -- from toddlers to seniors, The Friends also support library staff through educational grants, provide information on library programs and advocate for the library in our community and with local and state legislators.
"We all owe a great debt of gratitude to the members of the Friends of the Ocala Public Library," says Library Director Julie Sieg. "They work tirelessly to raise funds, plan programs and act as ambassadors for the library with elected officials and within the community. "
