New York State's first newly built hospital in over 20 years, merged Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center to a single location. In August 2011, the two hospitals opened it's new doors as Orange Regional Medical Center. The seven floor hospital provides over 350 beds, with new state of the art equipment and technology. Since then, ORMC has doubled it's size, opening a new Cancer Center, an Outpatient Building, a Children's Emergency Department & Pediatrics Center. ORMC has won numerous and rigorous awards including Most Ethical Company, Magnet Recognition, Healthgrades Patient Safety Award, Most Beautiful Hospital, and America's 250 Best Hospitals.
