The Parents & Family fund is one of the most impactful ways to support students at Cal Poly Humboldt! Gifts are put to immediate use to improve student experiences inside and outside the classroom. The Parents & Family Fund helps Cal Poly Humboldt students with programmatic support in areas like the Retention through Academic Mentoring Program (RAMP), Student Health & Wellbeing Services, and the library.
Some of the recent support from the parents and families has funded collaboration stations for students to work on group projects, a 3-D printer for the library makerspace, chromebooks available for students to check-out, and most recently a state-of-the-art digital dissection table that will support multiple disciplines across campus. The table includes hyper-realistic 3D human anatomy of both human and animal specimens and will advance the education from anatomy to zoology students. Cutting-edge technological upgrades like this help Cal Poly Humboldt students stay ahead of the curve and prepare them to be the next generation of teachers, scientists, leaders, and more.
*Matching funds from Cal Poly Humboldt Giving Day have been added to this campaign.
Gifts will help students like Cecilia Souza, a Cal Poly Humboldt Zoology major who aspires to work in species conservation; and Jay Schoenfiled, a graduate student in the Social Work program who is hoping to work as a school counselor in the public education system.
Please join other parents and families who are making a difference to improve the student experience through gifts to the Parents & Family Fund.
