What is Hydrocephalus?

Hydrocephalus is a lifelong condition, affecting over One Million Americans from newborns to seniors. An average of 40,000 shunt surgeries are performed each year in the United States. Americans spend in excess of $1 BILLION per year to treat this condition. Lack of advancements in treatment have left many people with Hydrocephalus unable to lead full and productive lives. There is NO know cure for Hydrocephalus.
