Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 9th, 1914. The Lambda Psi Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. was chartered at the College of Charleston on May 15th, 1980. The Chapter supports Real Men Against Domestic Violence (RealMad) and volunteers with John L. Dart Library Downtown Charleston.
