It is with great sadness that we announced on June 12th, 2019 the passing of Christopher "Gage" Pitney; beloved son, brother, family member and friend. Gage was twenty-two years old, a graduate of Taylor High School and an Eagle Scout. While working, he attended courses at Houston Community College, studying one of his favorite passions, photography.
As part of Gage's legacy, the C. Gage Pitney Memorial Scholarship was opened to help HCC students who share Gage's passion. Thanks to the generous support of family, friends, and contributors, we were able to hit our initial goal of $10,000 and as of May 1, 2025, award six scholarships. Now we ask you to help us take this to new heights and reach a second goal of $20,000 so we can keep awarding more scholarships to HCC students. As part of Gage's legacy, it is an honor to announce the opening of the C. Gage Pitney Memorial Scholarship to help HCC students who share Gage's passion.
