"I can't imagine how a dog feels to love a family one day, then end up at a rescue the next... devastated, confused, lonely, and sad." Our Program Partner, referring to Ginger, shared this on her blog.

Ginger, a husky mix, was "just a pup" around 2 years old when she was adopted in 2012. Her new family kept her for a while, and then returned her when they were hit with some serious health problems. She was adopted again about a year later, and that family kept her for almost 7 years... Due to unforeseen circumstances, Ginger was once again returned to the shelter.

Amanda, Ginger is now 9 years old and on her 3rd "forever" family...

She's spayed, house trained, full of love... she loves walks, car rides, peanut butter, kids, snuggling, and trampolines. You know she must be wondering why no one wants to keep her why she is always in and out of the shelter.
