Story
Victory Junction celebrates childhood and the magic of camp. We offer year-round programming, including summer camp, weekend sessions, day programs, equine therapy, and pediatric patient outreach to hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses throughout the Carolinas. By removing barriers, we provide opportunity, access, and empowering experiences to children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
Meeting the needs of children with physical or cognitive disabilities is a need across all communities. Often underserved or unserved, children with disabilities have limited access and opportunities for social inclusion and growth. That's where we come in.
In response to this need, we built a community for children with complex medical conditions where they are accepted as themselves and appreciated for who they are, so that they can see themselves in a world that is hopeful, inclusive, and welcoming. Additionally, the benefits of camp include independence, perseverance, and self-confidence. Surrounded by peers with similar circumstances and diagnoses, children are able to explore self-identity and who they are separate from their illness.
Run to Victory is a chance to feel the camp spirit of togetherness even when we are apart. RTV will take place virtually, so you can run, skip, walk, wheelchair roll, or bike wherever you are! You can make a difference for kids with chronic or life-threatening illnesses by raising funds used for camp programming.
While the world keeps changing, we remain committed to our mission to serve children with complex medical conditions. We invite you to join our community that empowers, embraces, and champions the uniqueness of our campers. Sign up as an individual, create a team, or join an existing team and help us raise $100,000!
