The Glen VanderKooi Gospel Outreach Fund
Carrying the Gospel to the Ends of the Earth
The Glen VanderKooi Gospel Outreach Fund was established by International Needs in honor of Glen’s remarkable life and unwavering commitment to Jesus Christ and His mission. Glen’s passion for the gospel shaped everything he did, from his legal career and volunteer service to his devotion as a husband, father, and friend. Even after a life-altering stroke in 2014, Glen continued to pour himself into Kingdom work, joyfully using his remaining strength to support gospel initiatives around the world. His legacy of faith, perseverance, and global vision lives on through this fund, which supports outreach in some of the hardest-to-reach places on earth.
Glen believed deeply that everyone deserves the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus. Whether through writing devotionals, organizing outreach efforts, or raising funds with his adaptive bike in events like “Glen’s Gospel Ride,” Glen embodied a contagious enthusiasm for spreading Christ’s love. He rejoiced in watching the ripple effect of faithful action—how a simple bike ride could result in pastor training in Egypt or entrepreneurial discipleship in Indonesia. His story is one of endurance, joy, and a deep conviction that the gospel is worth every effort, even when the path is steep.
Through the Glen VanderKooi Gospel Outreach Fund, you can continue what Glen started, supporting ministries that bring the light of Christ to dark and difficult corners of the world. Your gift honors Glen’s legacy and extends his mission, empowering pastors, church planters, and everyday believers to proclaim the hope of Jesus. As Glen once said, “The impact of the ride will go much farther than my ten miles.” So too, the impact of your generosity will ripple across nations, fueling a Gospel movement that Glen would have celebrated with all his heart.
