A Story of Strength and Hope
Meet Ava. At just 7 years old, she laced up her running shoes to participate in a virtual kids' race in memory of her baby sister, Leah, who passed away from SIDS. With every stride, Ava ran with love and determination, knowing she was helping other families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby.
Her family found solace and support through Baby’s Breath, connecting with others who understood their pain. Inspired by their journey, they wanted to give back. Through her race, Ava not only honored Leah's memory but also raised funds to support Baby’s Breath’s mission of providing bereavement resources, advocating for safe sleep practices, and funding vital research.
Ava's story is a testament to the resilience of families who have faced unimaginable loss. By signing up for the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, you too can make a difference. Every step you take and every dollar you raise brings hope and healing to families in need.
