A family centered environment, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team provides compassionate and skilled care to every child and their family, supporting their needs each step of the way. The PICU provides multidisciplinary, specialty care to critically ill infants and children for a wide range of health problems including airway reconstructive surgery, chemotherapy, craniofacial surgery, neurosurgery, plasmapheresis and other procedures. Using the latest technologies, the PICU also offers innovative therapies for respiratory failure and asthma and groundbreaking Anterior Scoliosis Correction surgery.
We support Saint Peters because they take such good care of our son. After a twenty-five day NICU stay and two stays in the PICU in the first three months of life, we are forever grateful for their care, compassion, and expertise. - Diane and Vince F.
