Sigma Nu was founded in 1869 at the Virginia Military Institute. The Iota Rho Chapter was founded at the College of Charleston in 1974. Sigma Nu supports East Cooper Community Outreach and Charleston Children’s Miracle Network. Members regularly participate in Movember to help raise awareness for men’s mental health and volunteer in local Charleston beach cleanups. Sigma Nu most recently won Pep Supper in 2020.
