Visit the charity's profileWelcome to the official fundraising page of YouthCity Government (YCG), where we are dedicated to shaping youth leaders through civic engagement. Our mission is clear: to introduce young people to the political process, offering a dynamic platform that facilitates interactions with elected officials and the broader community.
Since 2002, YCG has been actively involved in the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office's MLK Day of Service initiative, partnering with the SLC Council and other civic-minded individuals. What started as a volunteering effort at the Utah Food Bank has evolved into an inspiring legacy. In 2019, YCG students took the lead, initiating annual fundraisers for the Utah Food Bank, marking a significant chapter in our commitment to addressing the pressing issue of hunger in our state.
YCG is proud to announce our latest fundraising endeavor in support of the Utah Food Bank. We have witnessed the incredible impact of the Utah Food Bank, where every $1 donated translates into an astonishing $8.36 worth of goods and services. Your contribution goes beyond traditional food drives—monetary donations empower the Utah Food Bank to provide diverse communities and cultures in Utah with a range of foods and fresh produce.
Join us in making a tangible difference in the lives of families facing hunger in our state. Your support not only fosters a sense of community but also amplifies the voices of our youth in shaping a better, more compassionate future.
Together, let's inspire change and create a lasting impact. Donate today and be a part of YCG's mission to empower youth through civic engagement!
