Student attendance at conventions is extremely important for the academic development of our students and to help them gain self-confidence in the nursing field. Being able to bridge in-class experiences with real-world trends and issues will help our students develop their professional leadership skills.
The cost of attending the convention, however, is prohibitive to most students. Registration, travel, accommodations and meals are very expensive for an undergraduate student nurse. Your contribution to the Student Nurses' Association Convention Travel Fund will help offset these costs and will allow our students to learn about the latest trends, issues and career opportunities as well as network with hundreds of fellow students, faculty and nursing leaders from across the country. Overall, your contributions will allow our amazing student nurses to care for their patients, peers and the
future of the profession

This year's annual convention is April 15-19 in Coronado Springs, Orlando, Florida.
NSNA and Detroit Mercy's SNA is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students. With 60,000 members nationwide, these students are the voice of the future of the nursing profession.
