USC Upstate Day of Giving. What a Difference a Day Makes.
Why give to the School of Education, Human Performance, and Health?
Because gifts to SoEHPH allow us to make sure our graduates complete their programs and are ready to take jobs making a difference to our community.
USC Upstate and SoEHPH are one of the primary producers of teachers, early-interventionists, family support, and health and wellness professionals in our region and state. SoEHPH graduates make a difference in schools and classrooms, in non-profits, and in improving the health of individuals and families.
SoEHPH produces more than 150 newly certified educators each year.
More than 350 graduate students are a part of our innovative online M.Ed..
SoEHPH has two programs focused on increasing the number of male teachers of color: Call Me MiSTER and Real Men Are Teachers.
Our new Community Health program creates pathways to work in healthcare, focused on improving the wellness individuals and groups.
Sadly, at SoEHPH, we battle to make sure the needs of students have been met outside of the need-based Pell Grant awards received by almost half of SoEHPH students. These students still need funds to buy books or to take the required tests for certification.
Your gift can help meet those needs.
Your gift can fill gaps that often prevent students from finishing their degree, that keep them from becoming an excellent teacher in a classroom that is currently vacant, or that can work with patients recovering their health, mobility, and wellness through exercise.
