19 Years of Protecting Dallas: Now It’s Our Turn to Protect Him
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, Dallas Police Sergeant Joshua Boykin was involved in a serious off-duty small plane crash in Forney, Texas. Sgt. Boykin is currently in the hospital in critical condition, facing a long, difficult road marked by extensive, complex surgeries and prolonged medical rehabilitation.
For nearly two decades, Joshua Boykin has dedicated his life to protecting our community. As a 19-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department, he is a respected leader, a reliable colleague, and a deeply devoted family man. Many know him from his years of dedicated service in the Department’s Traffic Unit—proudly wearing the red shoulder tabs—while today he continues to lead and mentor officers as a Sergeant in the Central Patrol Division.
He has spent his career answering the call when others needed help. Now, it is our turn to answer the call for him.
How Your Donations Help
The physical and emotional toll on Sergeant Boykin is immense, and the financial challenges of a long-term medical recovery are mounting quickly. Every dollar raised through this campaign goes directly toward supporting his recovery, assisting with daily living and household expenses during his medical leave, as well as covering critical out-of-pocket medical costs and the specialized rehabilitation needs that lie ahead.
Our goal is to remove the burden of financial stress so Joshua and his loved ones can focus entirely on his healing.
Please donate today, share this link, and keep Joshua and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your generosity.
