As you know, the last year or so has hit our Maricopa County neighbors hard. Jobs have been lost. The economy is slowly recovering, but many low-income communities are still reeling. This fall, many families, seniors, and even children face an uncertain future.
But one thing is for sure: They'll need wholesome, nourishing food to make it through this rough patch. In homes across our community, the pantry shelves are running bare. Elderly neighbors like Bonnie are struggling to make ends meet.
