Last year around this time, Mollie found a lump in her breast. She went to the Imaging Center at Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) and they did not like what they saw, so they did a biopsy. Mollie was soon diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. After receiving chemo and undergoing surgery she came to MVHS for radiation, which started at the end of June 2020.
It was a little scary being in the middle of a pandemic, but I felt really comfortable coming to the MVHS Cancer Center. Everyone was very nice and I felt very cared for."
As for making a gift to Stomp Out Cancer - Mollie is proof that your donation makes a difference.
It's important for our community to help support Stomp Out Cancer. All of the money raised stays right here to help keep equipment and services available and state-of-the-art. I experienced this first hand. It was nice to be able to receive care in my community, near my family. It was a 10 minute drive to get here. I would literally come in and get my treatment, get coffee and go to work. It was that easy and it was possible because of the generosity of our community to Stomp Out Cancer."
