Organised by Broome Community College Foundation IncThe SUNY Broome Student Giving Campaign raises funds to support the Student Giving Peer Scholarship. Each year up to four SUNY Broome students are awarded this $500 scholarship to help offset the cost of their higher education!
The Student Giving Peer Scholarship is made possible through the Student Giving Campaign, which encompasses numerous fundraising efforts of SUNY Broome student volunteers.
In the academic year 2024-2025, we raised approximately $2,000 and awarded four students the $500 scholarship (see their stories below). We hope to do it again this year!
When students receive scholarships, they are empowered to move forward with their degrees without as much of a financial burden. Please consider helping us help our fellow students!

Your kindness is appreciated more than you know! Finances have been a huge struggle for me during the Dental Hygiene program. This scholarship will help aid in relieving some stress and allow me to focus more on school than my outside life. My biggest dream is to work in a pediatric dental office." - Alexis

I am a SUNY Broome dental hygiene student. This award is important to me as a daughter of a single mom, paying for a good portion of my education on my own. This scholarship will be put towards my tuition and will help me greatly, especially with how expensive this program can be at times.
