Brush Up Your Imagination—Color Your Reading!

Welcome to this year’s Boston Public Library Fund Readathon—a vibrant summer reading adventure focused on coloring your world with imagination and reading! It’s not only an opportunity to challenge yourself with new titles, but also a way to brighten the future of the Boston Public Library Fund’s mission to enhance library services and provide enrichment programs for readers of all ages!

Readers of every age are welcome—and caregivers, we invite you to sign up on behalf of your children, too!

Rules for our Online Readathon:

- Choose Your Goal: Decide how many books or pages you want to read this summer. Feel free to challenge yourself—this is your chance to stretch those reading muscles.

*Decide how much you'd like your supporters to give. For example, $5 per book or $1 per page.

- Create Your Fundraising Page: Once you’ve set your personal reading goal, create an online fundraising page. Share why you’re excited to read and why the library matters to you.

- Invite Donors: Reach out to friends, family, and colleagues, asking them to sponsor your summer reading. Every donation—big or small—colors our world a bit brighter by supporting literacy programs, community outreach, and more.

- Track Your Progress: Keep everyone updated on your reading progress. Posting milestones and reviews of your favorite stories can help inspire additional support.

- Celebrate & Share: When you reach your reading goal, celebrate with the community! Share your success on social media and encourage others to join or donate.
