Thanks to you, the Steel Bridge Team is the pride of SUNY Canton. Over the last 29 years, our students fielded teams that have dominated our regional rivals nearly every year, proving that the education flowing through the classrooms and labs of Nevaldine Hall prepares our students to put theory into practice on the first day of their careers. Thank you for your incredible support in building the foundation for a cross-generational tradition at SUNY Canton.

Last year’s AISC Student Steel Bridge Competition resulted in a trip to the national competition. The Team is excited to give the other schools a run for their money again this year! The spirit of the SUNY Canton Roos is strong and the enthusiasm and dedication of the students this year is fantastic! It has become a dynamic group effort this year with students, faculty and staff giving it their all.

Lead by faculty advisor Dr. Adrienne Rygel, the Team is already working on designing this year’s bridge in anticipation of the regional and national competitions this spring. Confidence is high, and the pieces are starting to come together very well. We are positive that the SUNY Canton Steel Bridge Team will run a strong bridge this year!
