Story
With poverty rising across Lebanon, people livelihoods are shattered as they struggle to provide daily bread to their families.
The situation in Lebanon is getting worse every day. The country faces its worst economic and humanitarian crises. With poverty at its highest, majority of people are suffering from food shortages and scarcity. We urgently need to provide assistance to help stop the hunger.
The economic downturn, followed by the Covid-19 shutdowns, has pushed people into poverty and destitution. With strict lockdowns and steep inflation, an alarming majority of people are facing food shortages and scarcity.
Families can"t afford to buy food for their children and many are suffering from acute malnutrition. They are barely surviving. While inconsistent work and low paying jobs can land a family in poverty, absolutely no work means that a family can"t get by without humanitarian assistance.
We will be on the ground delivering life-saving care by distributing essential food boxes to refugee families and the most disadvantaged communities in Lebanon for the duration of the month.Team Humanity is aiming to feed as many families as possible. Our goal is to provide food boxes to 1,000 families.
It just takes $30 to feed a family of four for the entire month. You can make your own impact by supporting our efforts delivering much needed food assistance to the poorest.
