The Cal Poly Humboldt Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Club empowers future engineers through leadership, inclusion, and kindness. It is a safe place for people of all backgrounds, with a special focus on supporting women in engineering. The club offers professional, educational, and personal growth opportunities.

The club also commits to making a difference on and off campus. Earlier this school year, we hosted a voter information drive, ensuring students were registered to vote and understood the issues they were voting on. In addition, the club has previously organized "Engineering Day" with local Girl Scouts to inspire young girls to explore STEM careers and envision themselves as future engineers.

This spring, the SWE Club is raising funds to attend the regional SWE conference in San Jose, California on February 28 - March 1. This is an exceptional opportunity to prepare club members for successful careers in engineering by gaining access to internship opportunities during their undergraduate careers. At the conference, club members will gain essential skills such as professional communication, networking, and knowledge of all engineering pathways and fields.

They’ll also explore diverse engineering fields and connect with industry leaders, paving the way for their futures.
