The Assist The Officer Foundation provides financial assistance to officers who are facing the loss of income due to a serious injury, life-threatening illness or other catastrophic event including death. ATO also provides confidential counseling services to area First Responders.

Story

Meet Anthony Choi, the 18-month-old son of two of Dallas's own, Officer Melissa Amador and Officer Peter Choi. Anthony is a bright and courageous little boy, currently facing a formidable health challenge. He has been diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, a serious kidney disorder that causes the body to excrete too much protein in the urine. Anthony is receiving care at Children's Hospital, and despite the difficulties, his spirit and strength continue to inspire everyone who meets him.

This diagnosis has placed an immense emotional and financial burden on the Choi family. As they navigate this difficult journey, they will face a mountain of medical bills and expenses that will begin to pile up.

The Assist the Officer Foundation is rallying to support Officers Amador and Choi and their family during this critical time. We are asking for your help. Your donation, no matter the amount, will provide essential relief and allow the Choi family to focus on what matters most: Anthony's health and well-being.

Every dollar raised through this JustGiving campaign will go directly to Anthony's family. We guarantee that 100% of all funds donated will be used to help with their current needs and to alleviate the financial stress of the medical bills they have incurred.

Please consider making a donation today to support this courageous little boy and his dedicated family. Your generosity can make a significant difference.
