Our nonprofit partner agencies, like Theatre Gap Initiative, strive to be a safe, supportive, and dynamic community, achieving our respective missions and serving our clients more creatively, efficiently, and cost-effectively. We believe that we are far better together than we could be individually.
Story
Founded by Tony Award Winning Educator, Corey Mitchell, the Theatre Gap Initiative (TGI) is an 8-month nonprofit college-prep program for high school grads who aspire to apply for Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and conservatory programs. Taking place at Central Piedmont Community College of Arts, TGI's programming is focused on helping BIPOC students successfully navigate the process of applications, prescreens, and auditions.
Your financial support of TGI will help the future of the Arts by providing the next generation with a solid platform to better elevate their chances of getting into the Arts University, Conservatory, or College of their dreams. A donation today is an earned degree and a career in professional theatre later.
Donations are 100% tax-deductible and are collected through the Children And Family Services Center Inc organization on our behalf.
