Story

Every day, we help people who are hungry and homeless. We serve those who have severe mental illness, often untreated, and who have substance abuse issues. We serve those who are often overlooked and often forgotten in our busy day-to-day. It is because of your help that women and children have a safe place to escape domestic violence, that the homeless in our community have food to eat and a warm place to sleep. It is because of your help that veterans in our community get the help, treatment and stability they need to recover and get back on their feet. It is because of your help that the chronically homeless--those living in the woods in tents and cars--have the supplies they need to make it through as well as people who check on them and care for them.

About the charity

We are more than just a shelter. Four main programs: --emergency and transitional shelter, including the Community Kitchen --domestic violence/sexual assault shelter --veterans transitional housing --PATH House, a resource center for the chronically homeless living outside in the elements.
