Story

To make our goals a reality, we must count on the support of alumni, family and friends to help us provide our players with the equipment and resources that will help them excel on the field and in the classroom.

When the University of Detroit Mercy women's cross country and track and field program finished its recruiting for the 2019-20 class, 14 student-athletes had pledged their allegiance to the Titans. Six of the 14 recruits run both cross country and track and field and 11 of the 14 are freshmen.

"A class that will make a positive contribution," said coach Guy Murray 89. "Our small roster will benefit from all in the class and help the good core we return to compete to move up the Horizon League standings."

The University of Detroit Mercy men's cross country and men's track and field program signed 13 student-athletes. Three of the 13 recruits run both cross country and track and field and 12 of the 13 are freshmen.

"We have a class with great potential," said coach Murray, "One that complements our young returning group and will help fill in any holes in the line-up. We will have a team that covers all the bases, with a good mix of veterans plus newcomers and one ready to continue up the Horizon League standings."

We are building champions at Detroit Mercy and we need you to help us do that.
