Story
Transfer student enrollment has been steadily rising, with a 9.5% increase just last year. Despite this growth, there wasn’t a dedicated space or program to support these students—leaving many feeling disconnected from campus and their peers.
To fill that gap, the Transfer Student Organization—part student-led club, part campus initiative—stepped up with limited resources. Efforts included hosting a transfer dinner during Orientation, organizing National Transfer Student Week, planning monthly game nights, and creating opportunities for connection and support.
Those efforts made an impact. The Transfer Student Center will launch in the fall—creating a dedicated space for transfer students to connect, find support, and build community.
Now comes the next phase: making the center truly thrive.
Current funding supports basic student staffing, but additional resources are needed to bring programs and opportunities to life. That’s where this campaign comes in.
Your support will directly fund meaningful programs and experiences, including:
🎉 National Transfer Student Week events
📚 Academic and career workshops
🤝 Community-building activities
💸 Future scholarships for transfer students
🎓 Graduation recognition like cords or sashes
This is more than a space—it’s a growing hub for connection, belonging, and success.
Make a gift today and help ensure transfer students have the support, community, and opportunities they deserve.
