Anyone who spent time with Carl knows the difference he made. As an alumnus and devoted volunteer, Carl brought light into every moment. He always stepped up to help ~ with his unmistakable smile and generosity ~ especially if there was a golf cart involved!

To ensure his presence endures, and continues to inspire others on their recovery journey, we are planting a memorial tree on Ashley's campus. This beautiful tree will provide solace for friends and a sacred space for quiet reflection.

We will plant a 15-year-old Eastern Redbud tree in early September; be sure to enjoy a moment under Carl's tree at this year's Alumni Reunion!

Trees represent resilience, deep roots, and quiet strength—qualities Carl embodied every day. Your donation will help maintain this sanctuary of peace, ensuring that future patients and alumni can find comfort under it's shade and feel Carl's sweet spirit.
