Story
BBFs ongoing response to the war in Ukraine includes supplying critically needed medications, medical supplies, and humanitarian relief to those impacted in Ukraine itself and to refugees in Poland. Through donors generosity, we have flown over 400 pallets (equal to 20 shipping containers) of relief supplies to Ukraine, provided generators to five hospitals near the front lines, supported mental health efforts for first responders and the general public, and provided grants for purchasing equipment.
Shipments

Brothers Brother Foundation shipped 20 pallets of hygiene supplies for Ukrainian refugees to Dnipro, a city in central Ukraine. The delivery, a community effort, was the culmination of the hygiene supply drive organized by the city and county back in April. In total, BBFs shipment to Ukraine contained 3,191 hygiene kits.

BBF shipments contain medical supplies that are useful to soldiers on the front lines.

Grants, Funding, and Purchasing
To support mental health relief in Ukraine, Brothers Brother Foundation has provided a grant to the Federation Global Initiative on Psychiatry (FGIP). Together, the organizations are helping the Ukrainian Psychiatric Association deliver aid and supplies to psychiatric hospitals in need including those in active war zones.

In collaboration with Partners Group in Europe - with 15% matching product donations from the manufacturer Medela - BBF purchased Negative Pressure Wound Therapy systems and related dressings. These systems treat battlefield injuries, preventing loss of limbs and life.

BBF provided support for refurbishing apartments in Poland to provide living space for Ukrainian refugee families.
