Over the past 20 months we have witnessed events both humbling and awe-inspiring: We have seen the staff at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center rise time and time again to the challenges put before them in the pandemic. Their resilience and courage under extreme pressure has been extraordinary. Each of us is blessed to have these incredible caregivers in our community. Everyone plays an essential role, from our nurses and physicians, to our housekeepers and cafeteria staff. Their collective strength is what keeps us strong, courageous, and the Home of the Brave.
