Thousands of immigrants attend Bostons high schools, but when they graduate, many face a huge obstacle: if they are undocumented, they do not qualify for federal financial aid, and many won't qualify for in-state tuition at Massachusetts public colleges.

Since 2017, the Unafraid Scholarship has awarded a total of $286,000 to 105 graduates of the Boston Public Schools.
