Whether you have a life-saving operation or a diagnostic test, being a cardiac patient can be a stressful experience. When a caregiver can so easily ease that anxiety, when they provide the best care possible, it can make all the difference.

By creating your own fundraiser, it allows the opportunity to recognize the entire Cardiac Care team for their dedicated work and empowers them by funding critically needed equipment. Across our hospitals, donors fund approximately 40% of all equipment.

Each year, donors help the care teams at RJH perform:

600 open heart surgeries

4,000 angiograms and angioplasties

700 electrophysiology procedures

900 cardiac device insertions

13,000 outpatient visits to the Heart Function & Pacemaker Clinic

Annually, over 200,000 Vancouver Island residents undergo cardiac assessments, and more than 6,300 cardiac procedures are performed through Royal Jubilee Hospitals Heart Health program.
