The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
In partnership with Island Health, the Victoria Hospitals Foundation enables donations to all areas of care at Royal Jubilee and Victoria General Hospitals. We raise funds for medical equipment, special projects, education, and research, benefitting all 885,000 Island residents.
Story
Visions is Victoria's premier black-tie gala event hosted annually by the Victoria Hospitals Foundation. Last year, on November 16, our guests, sponsors, auction donors, volunteers, committee, speakers, and supporters helped make history. Our community came together to raise an incredible record-breaking $1 million for imaging equipment at our local hospitals!
The generosity of our community continues to amazes us and with the difficult decision to postpone Visions 2020, the Foundation continues to focus on innovative ways to support our hospitals. We are incredibly grateful that long-time Visions and VHF supporters, Charlotte Salomon and her husband Chris Robinson, through the Salomon Robinson Family Foundation are matching donations made in lieu of Visions up to a total of $200,000! This transformational matching gift will support our current It's Critical campaign.
This campaign will help fund critical care equipment and the construction of Vancouver Islands first permanent High Acuity Unit (HAU). The HAU will expand critical care for Island residents, and help caregivers respond to today's challenges and tomorrow's healthcare needs.
We are deeply grateful for your unparalleled support and we hope to see you join us on this fundraising journey!
