As an organization with more than a century of experience in caring for our community, the Valley of the Sun YMCA responds quickly to these challenges; creatively expanding our programs to meet our community when, where and how we are needed most.

Y programs provide experiences that build a sense of belonging and welcome young people to develop their self-identity.
In 2023, the Y will: Engage 300 teens in civic leadership programming such as Youth & Government
Y programs provide critical safety around water knowledge and teach swimming skills for youth and adults.
In 2023, the Y will: Provide free swim lessons to 2,000 children
The Y provides opportunity youth in the community, ages 16-24, with pathways to employment, shelter, food and a solid future.
In 2023, the Y will: Serve 600 youth ages 16-24 with educational support, job training, and life skills training
Y programs are committed to executing experiences rich in social/emotional learning because youth do better when they have supportive adults nurturing their potential.
In 2023, the Y will: Provide quality enrichment activities in a safe space during out of school time for 1,300 youth
