Our Story

The Wegman Family Cottages are home to 80 elders living in four small, intimate cottages, each with 20 private rooms designed around the Eden Alternative philosophy. Here, elders are not simply residents—they are family. Days are filled with companionship, purpose, laughter, celebrations, and meaningful connections.

Families often ask how they can give back after experiencing the compassion and kindness shown to their loved one. Others want a way to honor a parent, grandparent, spouse, or friend whose memory lives on in our community.

The Wegman Family Cottages Fund was created for exactly that purpose.

Whether given in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a special occasion, or simply as a gesture of gratitude, every donation directly supports the people and programs that make our cottages feel like home. It also provides families with a meaningful way to recognize our staff, as caregivers are unable to accept personal gifts.
