As an organization with more than a century of experience in caring for our community, the Valley of the Sun YMCA responds quickly to these challenges; creatively expanding our programs to meet our community when, where and how we are needed most.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we can continue to ensure the health, safety and well-being of every YMCA child and family. We are working to pave the way for a bright future to all of our community no matter their age, race, gender or socioeconomic status.

ENGAGING OPPORTUNITY YOUTH

The Y provides opportunity youth in the community, ages 16-24, with pathways to employment, shelter, food and a solid future.

In 2023, the Y will: Serve youth ages 16-24 with educational support, job training, and life skills training

PROMOTING HEALTHY LIVING

Y membership and wellness programs can improve the health and well-being of our community to reduce chronic disease, obesity, and improve mental health.

In 2023, the Y will: Serve the health and wellness needs of the Maryvale community with affordable fitness programming for individuals and families

STRENGTHENING FAMILIES

Y programs support parents in creating stronger families to lower child poverty, reduce social-isolation, increase positive health outcomes, and increase family income.

In 2023, the Y will: Lower the barrier for families to gain entry into Y programs, and help families connect, build healthy habits and spend quality time together
