The opportunity to take part in Springer Theatre Academy has been one of our family’s top highlights of 2022. Each personality looked forward to different things - the thrill of adventure in learning something new for one; forming new relationships for another - but both students came away with a new sense of confidence and a new understanding of their place in the world. One overcame extreme anxiety of spending time in a new place. He learned how to let his guard down in a safe space and fully participate in an ensemble, supporting fellow students and boldly stepping up in turn. One thrived in a new place, learning to receive instruction from teachers and use her energy & focus to create something new alongside her peers. Our whole family is grateful for a place to stretch and learn, a place to fully be just as you are, and a place be a part of something good.

But, my dear friends, we must not forget that the transformative power of the Springer Theater Academy is not accessible to all.
