But what exactly is it that turns these moments into memories?
It's the countless trail work that gets you to the top of a peak. It's the hours of wildlife research that result in the revival of a once-endangered population. It's a ranger who took the time to educate and inspire a future park steward. It's a volunteer who gave their best suggestions for a successful trip.
