Around the world, millions of girls in our churches, schools, and communities struggle with sanitation (and shame) every month when they menstruate, which often means missing school or work.
SEED is working with International Child Care Ministries (ICCM) and the Set Free Movement to launch a pilot program. In the next 2-4 years, we will expand a micro-enterprise model through churches around the world. Local sewing centers will create washable menstrual supplies. This will help girls stay in school, help women hold longer-term jobs, reduce waste, create livelihoods, and lower the risk of girls and women being trafficked.
This grassroots, culturally-appropriate development will cost thousands of dollars for the next 2-4 years.
Can you give $25 or $50 or $1,000 toward this project?
Please note: we have upgraded to this new fundraising platform. So far, we have raised nearly $20,000 for the Wunders project, but we have more to raise to fully establish and launch this project in Kenya and beyond.
