Zoe Wheat is a 3rd-year student from Rome, GA majoring in Accounting and Finance. She has the honor of attending UWG as a Presidential Scholar which will allow her to graduate and begin her future career debt-free. While attending UWG she has been given the opportunity to serve as the President of the Blue Coats, the Vice President of the Honors Council, and the Vice President of Recruitment and Marketing for the Accounting Club. She has also been able to further her professional career by working as an Accounts Receivable Intern at Southwire Company since her sophomore year. Zoe strives to develop skills to gain experience and a competitive edge in the finance industry through her internship and campus involvement to one day become a Certified Public Accountant before transitioning to become a Certified Financial Planner where she can help families plan for future purchases and retirement. While at UWG Zoe has had the chance to be an independent student, a leader in her organizations, and a part of the Carrollton community which has truly allowed her to be able to call UWG home over the past two years.
