One Year Look Back: We're now more than a year operating the Emergency Shelter & Drop-In Center and nearly every night each of the 14 beds were full. What an incredible year of discovery and inspiration -- young people moving into their first apartment, a handful completing high school while sleeping at the shelter at night, several applying for community college courses, others beginning substance use treatment -- so many stories and lives Waypoint's team has impacted.  Challenges too as we learn, build our staffing capacity, create policies that support meeting young people where they're at and obtaining funding to cover operating costs, most of which is for staffing. We couldn't do it without the help of people like you -- donors who are drawn to this cause.
