Catalyst GO
Campaign by Ashburnham Place (RCN 212755)
Catalyst is a discipleship training programme that helps young people from around the world grow in their faith. As part of this programme each person is challenged to step out of their comfort zone to go and serve in another community or nation.

Story

After a two year hiatus Catalyst Go is back, with two exciting trips planned:

In the middle of May, four of our Catalyst volunteer team, Elias (DE), Kessia (BE), Sara (BE) and Tabby (UK), will be heading West to spend five days serving at Hilfield Friary in Dorset - a Franciscan community passionate about sustainability and conservation. There'll be vegetables to plant, livestock to tend to, and the opportunity to experience a more monastic mode of living.

At the beginning of June our second team, Joe (UK), Assem (KZ), Ana (ES) and Maria (AR) will head to Birmingham to spend time volunteering at Betel drug and rehabilitation centre. Whilst there our international cohort will serve in the gardens, the furniture shop and help to lead bible studies and times of worship.

Each volunteer has been given the target of £100 to raise, and are now working hard to devise various creative and ingenious ways of doing so.
