Community Shelter Souper Bowl of Caring · 5 February 2021 to 16 March 2021 ·

Schools, churches and neighborhoods raise funds annually for the Community Shelter of Union County through Souper Bowl of Caring. The drive directly helps neighbors in need through Shelter programs that provide emergency shelter, food and rehousing.

Story

HSA @MMS is joining in the Community Shelter of Union County's Souper Bowl of Caring campaign on behalf of UCPS. Please give generously through this page, and let's help end homelessness and hunger for our neighbors. Every $ counts!

Your participation makes a huge impact! Last year's donations;

  • Helped 26 families move from homelessness to independent housing
  • Provided 1680 overnight stays in their emergency shelter
  • Provided 23 COVID-impacted households with eviction prevention funds
  • Provided 420 nights of motel stay for COVID-vulnerable clients and overflow shelter
  • Provided multiple bags of food for 1,050 people laid off from work
  • Provided 420 breakfasts or lunches for Community Shelter residents, and
  • Provided 1,138 hours of job coaching and case management services.

Wow! Way to go team! Imagine what we can do this year! Please give today! #ALLIN

We will NOT be accepting cash donations in the building due to efforts to reduce the spread of COVID.  Please see Mrs. Sherritta Bell or Ms. Virtuous Harris for details on other option of how to donate. Thanks in advance for your tireless giving!
