Story

Sadly in February we lost our Dad and Grandad and our lives changed forever. Since Alfie lost his Grandad, he has been determined to do some fundraising in his memory, so we have decided to take on his challenge throughout April. If anyone could donate anything at all we would be incredibly grateful..... Love Lee, Joanne and Alfie...

'm taking on 100 miles in April! I'm challenging myself to walk or run 100 miles throughout April while also raising money to rebuild lives after stroke.100 miles in April is a fun way for us all to keep active and raise vital funds to help rebuild lives after stroke. Your fundraising can help in incredible ways:• £150 could help pay for research into new stroke treatments, such as thrombolysis, a clot-busting drug that returns the blood supply to the brain that has transformed the outcomes of stroke survivors who have received it.• £250 could pay for one hour of Helpline activity, helping the families of stroke survivors support their loved ones after stroke.• £300 could enable a Co-ordinator to demonstrate how to use My Stroke Guide to a stroke survivor, empowing them to take control of their recovery and feel less isolated
