I am asking for your support during the Indiana PGA Pros 4 Kids event on Monday, May 24th at The Club at Chatham Hills. Each participating PGA Professional will play 72 holes to support First Tee - Indiana and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent, and my charity of choice the Dylan T Stafford Memorial Fund.

Dylan is the son of Delaware CC members Erin and Ben Smith. He was 19 when he passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2021. Dylan was a 2020 graduate of Muncie Central High School and a standout basketball player for the Bearcats. 

I never had the opportunity to meet Dylan but I admired his work ethic from a far. He was one of the hardest working kids I've ever seen and was truly able to elevate his game on and off the court. The one and only game I ever saw him play was against my Connersville Spartans at the Spartan Bowl. He dropped a smooth 26 points and absolutely dominated the game on both ends of the floor. 

Dylan gave so much of his time and effort to help out his teammates, friends, family, and young basketball players throughout our community. Dylan lived his life by the "We Before Me" mantra and now it's time for us to do the same. Proceeds help support the Smith/Stafford family to bring awareness to teenage suicide.
