I'm a family medicine intern and I am hiking for Health + Justice! 

As a first-year resident physician at the Sutter Santa Rosa Family Medicine Program, I get to work with and learn from the amazing patients and staff at Santa Rosa Community Health.  I have already learned so much from them and want to do what I can to give this little bit back to them.

I'm raising money for Santa Rosa Community Health so they can continue to make health care happen for those who most need medical, dental, and mental health services. With your help, it's possible! For nearly 25 years, SRCH has prioritized being "the people's" health care providers, providing culturally respectful and relevant health care for people of all races and backgrounds. Every day, they open the doors of their 8 campuses to deliver medical, dental and mental health care for over 42,000 people. (That's 1 in 4 Santa Rosans!) Through the wildfires and now COVID, they are on the front lines, working so everyone can have the opportunity for a full and healthy life. I believe everyone in our community deserves excellent health care, regardless of their ability to pay.

I am super excited for the hiking challenge and the opportunity to continue to explore all of the incredible trails this area has to offer.  However, I am a little nervous about reaching my fundraising goal.  Having just moved across the country in the middle of a pandemic, the only people I know in the area are through work.  So please help me out in supporting this great cause.
